Strömforsin kesäteatterin LOVEIISAn tullessa päätökseen, sen tarina jatkuu tanssilattialla. Kesäteatterin viimeisen näytöksen jälkeen klo 20 alkaen, DJ Maverick nostaa tunnelman kattoon kasarin parhailla hiteillä. Jos olit mukana näytöksessä, ilta saa täydellisen jatkon, ja vaikka et olisi nähnyt LOVEIISAA lainkaan, olet aivan yhtä lailla tervetullut mukaan.

We Jazz Live Music Nights
In July and August, the Mylly Summer Stage at the Strömfors Ironworks will host four evenings of jazz against a historic riverside backdrop. The program has been curated by We Jazz, known for its high-quality and contemporary jazz lineup.
The concerts will feature the best of Finnish jazz from different generations, as well as a cross-section of We Jazz Records’ internationally acclaimed catalog. The lineup includes Teppo Mäkysen’s beloved jazz-funk ensemble The Stance Brothers, the Emma Award-winning Superposition led by Olavi Louhivuori, and Finnish jazz legend Olli Ahvenlahti with his quartet. This summer also marks the 90th anniversary of Juhani Aaltonen, the eternally youthful voice of Finnish jazz.
All concerts are free of charge and will be held outdoors on the summer stage.

Led by Olavi Louhivuori, the Emma Award-winning Superposition transports listeners to a world of modern acoustic jazz where composed music and free expression coexist. The quartet’s music offers space, movement, and layers—it can be delicate, intense, and unpredictably beautiful all at once. Superposition is known for its distinctive ensemble playing and expressive power, which makes every concert a unique experience.
Juhani Aaltonen Quartet

The Juhani Aaltonen Quartet brings to the stage the depth, freedom, and expressive power honed over a long career in Finnish jazz. Known as a saxophonist and flutist, Aaltonen is one of the most prominent figures in Finnish jazz, whose playing combines a strong presence, melodic sensitivity, and bold improvisation. The quartet’s concert offers the listener a musical journey in which quiet tones, intense moments, and the dialogue between experienced musicians create a unique whole.

The Olli Ahvenlahti Acoustic Quartet brings elegant and atmospheric acoustic jazz to the Strömfors Ironworks. Known as a pianist, composer, and conductor, Ahvenlahti is one of the most prominent figures in Finnish jazz. The concert features warm, swinging, and skillfully performed jazz in the historic ironworks setting.

Teppo Mäkynen and The Stance Brothers bring the infectious energy of rhythm music and the raw pulse of jazz-funk to the stage. This concert invites you to relax, move, and enjoy music where the rhythm carries you away.
