Strömfors Ironworks Workshop Museum
For a century, the historic Strömfors manufactory produced countless masterpieces of blacksmithing, from axes to door hinges and even carriages for transporting the wounded.
A visit to the Pajamo Museum is like a journey into the past. The museum exhibition in the upper pavilion was built in the 1990s and is divided into a section that has stood the test of time and a reconstructed pavilion. The authentic environment and informative exhibits create a holistic experience that deepens your understanding of Finland's industrial history. How is a nail made from iron ore? The Forge Museum is an absolute must, especially for anyone interested in craftsmanship, industrial history and traditional blacksmithing.
The workshop museum is open from 01.06.-31.08.2025 every day from 11 am to 6 pm , except on Midsummer's Day when the museum is closed from 20.-21.06. Admission to the museum is free.
Forging demonstrations will be held at the workshop from July 5th to August 2nd, 2025 on Saturdays from 12:00 to 14:00.
