The wonderful Christmas workshops in Strömfors Ruuk are coming again! This year's event will take place on Saturday 13.12. At the Christmas workshops, participants get to choose 1-2 Christmas-themed baking activities, between which a tasty lunch will be served at Strömfors Bed&Bistro. You can enjoy the joy of crafting and relax in the midst of the Christmas rush.
Masuuni Design candle workshop
A wonderful candle workshop where you can try your hand at marbling and making beeswax candles in a mould by pouring or rolling. You'll get to experience the joy of making with your hands and create unique candles from real beeswax for yourself or as gifts. Finally, the candles are beautifully packaged using recycled materials - so you can take home a finished gift idea! The workshop includes a tutorial, instructions and the raw materials for the candles - 6 rolling candles, 6 stearin candles, 4 moulded candles and packaging materials. No previous experience is required. Welcome to join us!

LoviSavi ceramics workshop
In the LoviSave Christmas pottery workshop in Loviisa you can create Christmas tree decorations, elves or Christmas trees. The workshop is also suitable for beginners and children over 12 years old. Elves and Christmas trees are made using the pinching technique and Christmas tree decorations using the plate technique. The clay used in the workshop is red stoneware clay, which takes on a beautiful terracotta colour when fired. The workshop fee includes all materials, instruction, firing of the work and delivery to your home. Tip! It's worth thinking in advance what kind of Christmas decorations you want to create so it's easier to get started! The course is bilingual (in Swedish and Finnish). You can still paint the objects at home, e.g. with acrylic paints.

Peikonkello's Christmas party
The Peikonkello boutique in Loviisa will be hosting this year's christening party. At this christening workshop, they don't just make the traditional fir crane, but they have a wide range of wonderful play and natural materials that you can use to make your own fantasy crane, for example to decorate your front door. However, the main part of the crosses are made of beautiful special carvings and various fresh eucalyptus. Finally, the cranes are decorated with a variety of natural ornaments and seasonal decorative ribbons. At the beginning of the workshop, we will go over the basics of making a crane together, after which you will be able to make your own crane. Of course, you will also receive advice and guidance during the workshop if needed. The workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike! The workshop price includes the base, materials for making a chrance, decorations, tools to borrow for the duration of the workshop and guidance.
